But can she really fend off his awkward charm forever? Ryuichi HIROKI, the grandmaster of Japanese melodrama, once more combines an unusual plot with humor and compassion for his characters.

Director Bio
Ryuichi HIROKI was born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1954 and learned his trade as a filmmaker in the Pink Film genre. Within Japanese cinema, he is considered to be one of the experts for sophisticated romance films. In 1982, he received a stipend from Sundance Institute and made his feature film debut SEIGYAKU!. International recognition came in 2003 with VIBRATOR.
