Director Bio
Ryuichi HIROKI was born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1954 and learned his trade as a filmmaker in the Pink Film genre. Within Japanese cinema, he is considered to be one of the experts for sophisticated romance films. In 1982, he received a stipend from Sundance Institute and made his feature film debut SEIGYAKU!. International recognition came in 2003 with VIBRATOR.
