Teenager Shinichi can consider himself lucky. True, he has been infected by an extraterrestial parasite that resides in his hand. But he still has control over his brain – unlike many other parasite hosts. After his initial aversion, Shinichi and the parasite have to form an unlikely couple in this intelligent sci­fi-horror film that took the Japanese box offices by storm.

Director Bio
Born in Nagano in 1964, Takashi YAMAZAKI began his film career as a special effects artist for commercials in the 1980s. In 2000 he was given the chance to direct his first feature film JUVENILE, based on his own script. The phenomenal success of ALWAYS – SUNSET ON THIRD STREET (2005 /NC '06) firmly established him as an expert for intelligent big budget productions.
