Kumiko (played by Japan’s shooting star Rinko KIKUCHI) leads a dull and lonely life in Tokyo. But everything seems to take a turn after she watches a videotape of an American movie in which a man buries a case full of money in the snow. What if she found that money? Reality and fantasy begin to converge in this modern fairytale.
