How illusionary is the notion of a global apocalypse, given the absurdity of wars and other disasters? In this surrealist experimental film, Aya KAWAZOE takes the audience on a journey to a utopia filled with wild bicycle chases, revolting children, and masked impostors.

Director Bio
Aya KAWAZOE was born in Kanagawa in 1989. She graduated from the Visual Arts and Theater Studies Department at Tama Art University. Her films include THE ELEPHANT DIED (2011 Oberhausen competition) and FLAME OUT (Grand Prize, 2011 Image Forum Festival, Tokyo).

What is "memory"? Does time heal all wounds? After the death of his father, a stage designer, Sora HOKIMOTO created this impressionist collage of home video footage and theater scenes as a very personal way of saying farewell.

Director Bio
Sora HOKIMOTO was born in Saitama in 1992 and graduated from the Visual Arts and Theater Studies Department at Tama Art University. He has already worked as assistant director for Shinji AOYAMA, Masashi YAMAMOTO and others. His film 11. was shown at NIPPON CONNECTION in 2013. A SONG THAT NEVER ENDS has won awards at the Tokyo Students Film Festival and at Nara International Film Festival.
